Future Wave Film Festival May 6th - 10th 2015, Dublin

March 2nd:

We had a very successful press launch night. Submissions are now open.

 

January 26th:

Submissions will open on March 4th following our press launch. More on that to come.

 

January 20th:

We are delighted to announce that this years competition has been expanded to include Second Level students from across Ireland.

 

May 5th 2015:

We are delighted to announce this years judge will be IFTA Award winning Editor Nathan Nugent. Working across a vast array of film and TV projects, including the IFTA Award-winning feature ‘As If I Am Not There’ and Lenny Abrahamson’s internationally acclaimed feature film ‘What Richard Did’ (for which he won the IFTA Editing award in 2013), Nathan’s recent credits include the Michael Fassbender Sundance senation, ‘Frank’ and the upcoming Galway Film Fleadh Best Feature winner, ‘Glasslands’.

 

April 25th:

Thanks to everyone who attended our Launch last night. An excellent night was had by all.

 

April 23rd:

The Festival will be officially launched tomorrow night. The launch will take place in City Assembly House at 6pm. If you would like to attend then contact us. Directions to the venue can be found here.

 

April 18th:

Following on from our announcement last week we are delighted to announce that we have entered into cooperation with the Athens International Digital Film Festival. The winners in each category of the Future Wave Film Festival will automatically be entered in to the Athens International Digital Film Festival. April 13th:

We are delighted to announce that we have entered into cooperation with the In The PalaceInternational Short Film Festival. The winners in each category of the Future Wave Film Festival will automatically be entered in to the In The PalaceInternational Short Film Festival where it will be in with a chance of sharing in a prize fund of €10,000. The winners will also receive the following: You receive 1 personal invitation to the Festival, including:
